In the late 80's, arcade games started taking on some new traits. One of the most popular series was Double Dragon released in 1987 by Taito. I can remember lines of gamers just waiting to play during the summer of '87. It was one of the first successful games to introduce the option of two simultaneous players. You could play against each other or as a team against the game.
For us, Double Dragon II was a HUGE success with gamers lined up to play during the summer of '88. It was one of the first games that had a story ending that limited the players to getting all the points they could before the end of the game. Stop in and give Double Dragon II a try. No, it is not as cool and flashy as the fighting games of today, but it is a fun blast back to the past of the early 2D scrollers.
Thinking we need to find a Golden Axe 2D scroller,
