Happy Birthday Paul "Zimmzamm" Zimmerman
When it comes to true classic gaming there ain't no flimflam from Paul "Zimmzamm" Zimmerman. We first met Paul back in 2006 at the Midwest Gaming Classic (MGC) in Wisconsin. We then started sponsoring the Video Game Summit (VGS) in Illinois, in which he helps out.
He holds several high score world records, the best being Phoenix for the Atari 2600. Other than belonging to many gaming web sites, you can also find several articles he has written for Retrogaming Times Monthly.
Paul has been supportive of Star Worlds Arcade and our quest to keep gamers informed of our role in keeping classic gaming alive and well. If you are attending this year's MGC, be sure to stop by the booth where he will be, at some point, trying to break a world record on another classic game for the Atari 2600. He will also have information available about Star Worlds Arcade and our Celebrate the Arcades campaign. Though Paul can seem quiet at first, he is very approachable and eager to make new friends in the gaming community.
